The Kruuse Rehab Dog Elbow Protector is an external brace for dogs legs. It is specifically created to support the elbow leg area of your dog and to aid with lameness and improve quality of life through a surface support. The elbow brace is made from neoprene and with velcro secure tabs to tighten or loosen as required. The dog elbow protector is an orthopaedic device that is applied outside the body and compensates for the loss of function. Reduces pain and swelling by back pressure and improves the balance between muscle groups and reduces pain. Improved flexibility in tight muscles enables the dog to quickly regain the normal walking pattern. The elbow protector can be used before and after surgery, chronic arthritis ie Osteoarthritis, OCD, Ligament Injuries, Arthritis, ED and other assessments.

When the dog appears to be troubled by its elbow joints, the most common symptom is lameness or stiffness, which they can then ease by moving about a bit. When dogs exhibit these symptoms, an elbow protector is the ideal solution in connection with the end of a training session in order to exert counter-pressure on subsequent swelling. Furthermore, the protection also contributes with increased heat, thus providing the muscles with better oxygen supply and better circulation conditions. For many dogs, the elbow protector can be decisive in how well they can adapt to their joint problems. It counteracts pain, swelling and gives muscles a chance to rest correctly.

The elbow protector is fastened above and under the joint with the aid of two Velcro bands that run through loops in the protector so that it does not slide down the leg.

When fitted correctly, this Dog Elbow Brace can have a soothing effect, helping to overcome lameness and joint pain / discomfort and, in doing so, may expedite the healing process and aid longer term recovery / treatment (especially post-surgery), which could then allow the dog to quickly regain normal mobility and well being.

To apply, open the velcro and elbow brace. Place the elbow brace on your Dog's elbow joint and close the velcro securley but not do not over tighten.

The Kruuse Orthopaedic Dog Elbow Protector is available in the following sizes: To measure - measure the length of your dogs upper elbow joint in cm's. Or measure the circumference of the upper elbow joint and 1/2 the measurement. You need to fully measure your dog. Using the breeds of dogs to fit guide is only ever an approximate as of course all breeds can vary in size. 

If your dog is inbetween two sizes of elbow protectors simply order both sizes and post back the one you do not need. Simply keep the brace like new with all the packaging so we can sell the returned brace as new!
