The EDIX Signor is a premium quality, anatomically shaped bareback pad made with original Merino lambskin. A ride on this bareback pad feels like floating on a cloud!
This luxury bareback pad offers ultimate comfort and stability for both horse and rider. It is built with high-quality pressure-distributing materials and a soft Merino sheepskin lining, the Signor protects the horses back while providing the rider with support and grip. It combines the freedom of riding without a saddle with the benefits of a carefully designed construction. Stirrup leathers can be added if required for added stability as well.
Construction:
-
Built on a durable foam and cotton base, combined with a detachable 30mm original Merino sheepskin.
- Along the spine, the wool is shaved shorter, creating freedom for the spinal column.
-
On each side, two large inlay pockets with double compartments are fitted, pre-filled with felt and 20mm thick 3-mesh inserts. These layers work together to evenly distribute pressure, stabilize the pad, and provide optimal back protection for the horse.
-
High knee blocks and a soft foam cantle offer the rider extra support without restricting movement.
-
The Y-girthing system with strong polypropylene billets ensures the girth pressure is evenly spread.
- The integrated stirrup attachment allows optional stirrup use, distributing the rider’s weight over the multiple layers of the pad and preventing pressure points.
- Ideal for standalone use or the pad can be used with a Total Contact Saddle as the TCS saddle can slide under the upper seat of the pad.
- Anatomical design suitable for both round horses and horses with slightly higher withers.
- Lightweight and easy to handle.
